To serve as an advisory body to the City Council on all matters dealing with youth.

Fifteen Commissioners (13 youths between the ages of 13 – 19 serve 2 year, rotating terms; and 2 adult representatives from Conejo Recreation and Park District and Conejo Youth Employment Service). City residency is required of all youth members.
Meetings: Youth Commission meets on the first and third Wednesday of the each month. On the first Wednesday of each month, meetings are at the Civic Arts Plaza in the Boardroom at 6:30 p.m. If your youth organization is having an event, attend our monthly televised meeting and make an announcement. We also encourage representatives from middle schools and high schools to come to our televised meetings and give school reports.

Liaison Service: Youth Commission members also act as liaisons to other teen related agencies in the community such as the: Fabulous Alex Fiore Teen Center Advisory Council, Therapeutic Advisory Council, Conejo Coalition for Youth and Families, Conejo Coalition for Substance Use, and Associated Student Governments at all local schools.
