  • March 11 - Garden Design 101 for a Waterwise Garden - Thousand Oaks
    FREE class by the Master Gardeners of Ventura County from 6:30pm to 8pm in the Community Room at the Grant R. Brimhall Library. 
  • March 13 - FREE Residential Leak Detection Workshop - Newbury Park

  • March 16 - FREE Class "Creating a Sustainable, Balanced Garden Ecosystem" - Newbury Park
    FREE class from 10am to noon at the City's Municipal Service Center. Must register at this link
  • May 13 - Waterwise Plant Selection and Maintenance  - Thousand Oaks
    FREE class by the Master Gardeners of Ventura County from 6:30pm to 8pm in the Community Room at the Grant R. Brimhall Library
  • May 27 - Trash Service Delayed one day this week due to observance of Memorial Day

  • Sept 15 - FREE Landfill Day - Simi Valley
    Dispose excess trash and green waste from 7am to 1pm at the Simi Valley Landfill. More info at this link.

  • Sept 22 - Coastal Cleanup Day - Newbury Park and beyond
    Be one of the 60,000 people across all of California in the upcoming 35th Annual California Coastal Cleanup Day!  Volunteer to remove debris from beaches, creeks, rivers, and lakes all around California to protect wildlife from harm while taking care of our environment. The closest volunteer cleanup site in Thousand Oaks is in Newbury Park.  More info here.
