PROJECT DESCRIPTION

- The project location will be at various locations throughout the City (see Vicinity Map).

- The work includes the fabrication and installation of trash full capture device at 19 high priority catch basins throughout the City (see Vicinity Map). Related work includes pre-installation cleaning and disposal of waste from selected catch basins.

PROJECT TIMEFRAME

July 2022 – August 2022 (Estimated) to last for 30 Calendar Days

BUDGET/FUNDING

A construction contract has been awarded to United Storm Water, Inc., City of Industry, CA in the amount of $20,591.00. This project is funded with Stormwater Funds.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS/BENEFITS

The installation of trash control devices at each catch basin will effectively reduce the amount of trash entering the storm drain system. Catch basins previously retrofitted in this manner are considered to be in full compliance with the State’s trash and litter water quality requirements.
