Since its incorporation in 1964, Thousand Oaks has contracted with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department for law enforcement services. The members of the Sheriff's Department are committed to safeguarding lives and property, and responding to public concerns in a manner which promotes neighborhoods free from the fear of crime.
