This proposal is to amend the General Plan map and make corresponding changes to the zoning designations to reduce the amount of residential development in the General Plan in these areas to align with how the neighborhood was built.

Here are three important pieces of information about this proposal:

  1. This will not result in any increased development in these neighborhood. It is, in fact, expected to prevent changes to the character of these neighborhood.
  2. Property owners in these areas will continue to be able to use, remodel or expand their homes as they would today.
  3. There is no cost to the affected property owners, direct or indirect, for this action.
