Social Media Comment Policy
The City will not post any comments and will remove comments that are obscene, defamatory, in violation of the copyright, trademark right, or other intellectual property right of any third party, not relevant or otherwise appropriate such as the following examples:
- Potentially libelous comments
- Derogatory comments about race, creed, color, age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability or religion
- Plagiarized material
- Private, personal information published without consent
- Sexual content or links to sexual content
- Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity
- Commercial promotions or spam
- Hyperlinks to material that is not related to the discussion
- Support or opposition to political candidates or ballot propositions
