April 23, 2019 – Highlight of City Council Action

    • Proclaimed May as Older Americans Month

    • Received video presentation from New West Symphony: Titanic Live

    • Commended longtime City employee Mike Newman for being chosen Employee of the Year

    • Conducted public hearing regarding Proposed 2019 Citywide User Fees, Fines, Penalties, Rates, and Assessments (User Fees), and Police Facilities Development Fee; adopted resolutions approving fees

    • Conducted public hearing regarding Proposed Citywide Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee and Update of Five Existing Traffic Impact Fees; adopted resolutions amending fees and rescinding Resolution Nos. 77-385, 78-547, 80-402, 2001-082 and 2011-012

    • Received update report from Ad Hoc City Council Homelessness Committee on education, outreach, and 2019 Ventura County Point in Time Homeless Count; authorized agreement with Harbor House
