February 12, 2019 – Highlight of City Council Action

    • Borderline T-shirt Sales check presented to Westlake Village Rotary Club by community member John Short

    • Clean Power Alliance (CPA) update provided by CPA Executive Director Ted Bardacke

    • Received Thousand Oaks Alliance for the Arts (TOARTS) Operations and Programming Update Report

    • Received report on Landscaping Upgrades, Forestry Master Plan Demonstration Sites (MI 2545); approved project design, plans, specifications, and Addenda Nos. 1 and 2 and awarded construction contract to United Irrigation, Inc.

    • Received Cannabis Regulations and Operations Update verbal report; directed staff to return to Council around May with analysis and options regarding municipal code amendment to address cannabis deliveries, and procedural options regarding establishment of cannabis testing laboratory; staff to return to Council after summer recess to provide update on cannabis

    • Approved Planning Commission appointment of Kevin Kohan to serve term ending December 2020; appointment of Nelson Buss and reappointment of David Newman and Sharon McMahon to serve terms ending December 2022

    • Approved Traffic and Transportation Advisory Commission appointment of Lawrence Imel and reappointments of Angie Simpson and Rick Lemmo to serve terms ending December 2022

    • Councilmember Engler reported on New Mayors and Councilmembers Academy January 30 – February 1, 2019
