Purpose: To serve as an advisory body to the City Council on matters pertaining to the arts and cultural development in the City with priority focus on the Thousand Oaks Performing Arts Center's Fred Kavli Theatre and Scherr Forum Theatre.

Members: 10 voting members: 8 members active in performing arts, visual arts and/or philanthropy for the arts appointed by City Council; 2 members nominated by Thousand Oaks Alliance for the Arts (TOARTS) and confirmed by City Council.
Non-voting Members (serving as Liaisons to CAC): 1-Representative of Arts Council of the Conejo Valley 1-Representative of Ventura County Arts Council 1-Representative of Conejo Recreation & Park District
