Purpose
Acts in an advisory capacity to City Council on matters regarding older adults.
Members
Nine Commissioners (must be 60 years of age or older) and a City resident. Commissioners serve two-year, staggered terms.
Public Notices
The election for two (2) representatives for the City of Thousand Oaks Council on Aging (COA) to the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging (VCAAA) will take place at the regularly scheduled meeting on June 1, 2023. The City is allowed two voting members on the VCAAA Advisory Council. The term is from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2025. The June 6, 2023 meeting agenda will be posted on this webpage 72 hours in advance of the meeting. (Posted 5/3/2023)
