*The City may recruit members for an outside agency as part of a Joint Powers Agreement or membership in a County-wide or special purpose advisory committee. Members of the public are appointed by the City Council to represent the City on these committees except for the Ventura Co. Transportation Commission, whose member is appointed by the Ventura County City Selection Committee.
