Crooning and swooning for Valentine’s Day

Join the Council on Aging for a special Valentine’s Day Themed presentation, The Rise of the Crooners presented by Cary Ginell. Cary will talk about how the advent of the microphone, allowed singers to use their voice in more subtle ways, triggering the era of the romantic “crooner.” Cary will cover music from the 20s and 30s and spin tunes from Rudy Vallee, Bing Crosby, Vaughn DeLeathand PhaTerrell. Grab your special Valentine and join us!
