New Beverage Container Recycling Centers Open in Town!

Cans & BottlesHave you been frustrated in locating places to turn in your bottles and cans since the closure of RePlanet’s recycling/redemption centers last August?  If so, good news! Four new centers have opened in the Conejo Valley recently. These add to the list of local retail establishments that accept beverage containers and redeem your deposit. Because centers may change their hours of operation (particularly with the current COVID-19 situation), it is recommended that you call to confirm their hours.

The new centers are:

Ponce Recycling – (818) 531-5654
1500 Moorpark Rd, Thousand Oaks  (by Home Goods) Hours: 9am to 5pm Mon-Sat.
3963 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks (behind Ralphs) Hours: 9am to 5pm Mon-Sat; closed 1-3pm for lunch

CRV Only Store  – (805) 404-7221
1724 E. Avenida de los Arboles, Thousand Oaks  (behind Jinky’s Café) Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am – 4:30pm; Sat 8:30am – 5pm

CRV Only Store – (805) 404-7221
5727 Kanan Rd., Agoura Hills (behind Ralphs) Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am – 4:30pm

To find out all locations currently accepting bottles and cans, including stores, please check our website.  Dedicated recycling/redemption centers accept large quantities with no limits, whereas some retail establishments have placed restrictions on quantities and items they accept.

There are three options available to City residents for recycling beverage containers:

  1. Use a redemption center located here or nearby in Agoura, Simi Valley, Camarillo or Oxnard. See our webpage for address listing.
  2. Redeem items at your closest certified retail establishment by checking our website for the list of current participating retailers.
  3. Use your curbside recycling bin (and forego the redemption value).
