Hill & Woolsey Fire After Action Report Summary Released

The City of Thousand Oaks has prepared an After Action Summary Report (AASR) which highlights the steps taken by the City during the Borderline shooting and the Woolsey and Hill fires. The AASR provides an overview of the City's initial response to each event, staffing procedures and identifies areas that require additional planning and development in anticipation of future similar events.

The intent of the AASR is to provide the community with information on the ability of the City to operate in the event of a natural or man-made disaster and to provide transparency on processes and procedures. The City also provides a copy of the AASR to the Ventura County Office of Emergency Services to help improve processes and communications during emergency events.
