Recycled Art Workshop for All Ages
In honor of Earth Day, all ages are invited to come and spend a couple hours with the nonprofit TOARTS to create beautiful recycled art in the lobby of the Fred Kavli Theatre. The event takes place on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 11 am to 1 pm inside the theatre lobby at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. All supplies and instruction are provided in partnership with Art Trek. Creating art from existing materials that would otherwise go into landfills reduces our environmental footprint, while at the same time offers an enjoyable experience for the whole family.
According to Parenting magazine, 95% of moms surveyed agreed that one of the most important benefits families reap from arts and crafts is quality time bonding together. Years from now it won’t matter what you created, just that you did it together!
