“The Dish” Screening with Patrick Warburton 

“The Dish”, starring Patrick Warburton and Sam Neill, is a film about the role of the Parkes Observatory in relaying live television of man’s first steps on the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. It was the top grossing Australian film in Australia in 2000.

Special Guest Patrick Warburton, who stars in the movie, will introduce the film and answer questions afterwards. Warburton, an American actor and voice artist, has starred in “Seinfeld”, “Dave’s World”, “The Tick”, “Rules of Engagement”, and is currently starring in the Netflix Original: “A Series of Unfortunate Events” as Lemony Snicket. His many voice-over roles include Joe from “Family Guy” and Kronk from “The Emperor’s New Groove”. Seating is limited.

This free community event will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Grant R. Brimhall Library in the Marvin E. Smith Community Room.
