Space Crafts!

Take a tour of the Universe with different crafts and STEM-related activities. Program will take place on January 14, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Grant R. Brimhall Library Community Room.

TEENS

New Year Planner

Learn how to organize the new year with a planner. Bring your own notebook to decorate or use one of our starter notebooks; pens and supplies provided. Program will take place on January 10, 2019 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Newbury Park Library Meeting Room and on January 15, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Grant R. Brimhall Library Community Room.

Trivia & Word Puzzles

Visit our libraries for new word puzzles and trivia every month. Youth grades 6-12 can guess and enter for the chance to win a prize. Use your knowledge to win at the Library.

Video Gaming Wednesdays-Super Smash Bros @ The Library

Play Super Smash Bros on Nintendo Switch the third Wednesday of the month. Program will take place on January 16, 2019 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Newbury Park Library Technology Room.

Virtual Reality @ The Library

Sign up for a 10-minute session to try the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality system and games to be held the fourth Friday of the month. Next session is January 25, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Grant R. Brimhall Library Tech Training Room.

Practice SAT Test with Revolutionary Prep

Revolutionary Prep will be proctoring a practice SAT test and can provide feedback and insight on a student’s multiple-choice answers and essay. Participation will require setting up a free account with Revolutionary Prep to submit test and essay for feedback. Sign-up ahead of time at the Library reference desk to take the free practice SAT test. Practice test will take place on February 2, 2019 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Grant R. Brimhall Library Community Room. Sign in at 7:30 a.m.
