Author! Author! Brings Featured Authors to the Thousand Oaks Library Each Month
Author, Author, a new program at the Thousand Oaks Library, presents two authors each month who will discuss and sign their latest books. The back-to-back talks run from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and kick off on Sunday, January 14, 2017.
January’s selections are: Why Johnny Came Marching Home: A Fighter Pilot’s History of Why We Lost the Clandestine Air Wars in Southeast Asia, by Russ Goodenough followed by Timekeepers, a legal thriller by Jenn Bregman.
Goodenough’s writings combine his personal experience as a fighter pilot during the Vietnam War with extensive data research for an eye-opening examination of U.S. involvement in the war.
Bregman is a white-collar criminal defense lawyer who has worked on some of the most notorious cases of our time. Publisher’s Weekly describes Timekeepers as a legal thriller featuring a plucky solo practitioner fighting for the little guy.
