Closures for Week of June 19, 2016
For detailed closure and detour information, visit the project
Google map or click on the map icon below. Please note, the speed limit on the SR-23 and US 101 freeways within the project area has been reduced to 55 miles per hour. Motorists are reminded to slow down within the project corridor, use caution and observe all posted signage while traveling through the construction zone.

US 101 Nighttime Lane Closures
Crews will close lanes along northbound and southbound US 101 from Westlake Boulevard to the SR-23 connector, nightly between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., Wednesday, June 22 through Friday, June 24. These lane closures are needed as crews conduct paving work in the center median.

DETOUR: At least one lane along northbound and southbound US 101 will remain open at all times. Please visit the project Google map for more information regarding scheduled closures.

DISCLAIMER: Please be advised, dates and times are subject to change due to unforeseen operational factors or inclement weather.

Long-Term Construction Impacts
While most construction activity will take place at night or during off-peak hours, lanes have been reduced in a few locations in order to facilitate construction activity. Intermittent nighttime lane closures on the northbound US 101 and surrounding on- and off-ramps may be required over the next few weeks, although no closures are currently scheduled. To avoid congestion and minimize delays related to this work, consider alternative routes and allow extra time to reach your destination if your trip involves the following routes:

  • Northbound Hampshire Road to Northbound US 101 on-ramp has been reduced to one left turn lane, 24/7
