Oak Tree Ordinance Staff Conejo Mobile Home Park Closure Impact Report The Conejo Mobile Home Park (1200 Newbury Road) has been proposed for closure. A copy of the Closure Impact Report for the Conejo Mobile Home Park is provided below. It provides information regarding the mobile home park and describes how the applicant proposes to provide relocation assistance to residents and mobile home owners. The Planning Commission must hold a public hearing on the proposed mobile home park closure, subject to appeal to the City Council. This case is scheduled for Planning Commission hearing on June 22, 2009. Conejo Mobile Home Park Closure Report: Proposed T.O. Blvd Specific Plan Submitted to City The Thousand Oaks Boulevard Business Improvement District has submitted a draft of their proposed specific plan for the Boulevard area. On Tuesday, May 5, 2009, the City Council discussed the draft and referred it to staff to begin the environmental review process. City Council also initiated a companion General Plan Amendment. This proposal corresponds to a vision statement prepared by the Thousand Oaks Boulevard Association, and endorsed by City Council in November 2006 and deals with properties along and near the Boulevard from Moorpark Road to Duesenberg Drive. The primary intent is to revitalize and beautify the corridor and create a pedestrian-friendly destination.
