Council on Aging

Purpose: Acts in an advisory capacity to City Council and provides support services to senior citizens. Council on Aging makes recommendations to City Council regarding senior concerns. The function and duties of Council on Aging are as follows:
    A. To locate and maintain an updated directory of all local senior citizens' services.

    B. To identify the problems and needs of senior citizens.

Members: Nine Commissioners (must be 55 years of age or older) and a City resident. Commissioners serve two year terms.

Meetings: Monthly, excluding July and August.
