    Donate gently used shoes to benefit Stepping Stones Riding Program. Your used shoes help provide for local rescue horses! The shoes are reused by needy families and they also provide jobs for them.

    FREE
    disposal of medications, e-waste, prescription glasses, bicycles, clothing, shoes, rugs, PLUS FREE document shredding (up to 3 boxes) at Oak Park High School from 9am to 2pm.

    FREE class sponsored by the Master Gardeners of Ventura County and Calleguas from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Come hear a certified Master Gardener speak on the topic of choosing the best place to plant which plant in your garden. Find out how some failure to thrive plantings can be avoided to save time and money.

  • March 24 - Stuffed Animal Drive for Casa Pacifica - Newbury Park
    Bring new or gently used stuffed animals to Wendy Park from 3-4pm. Address is 815 American Oaks Ave in Newbury Park. Stuffed animals will go to Casa Pacifica, who will give them to kids visiting the doctor for checkups.

  • April 28 - National Drug Take Back Day
    This event happens twice a year on Saturdays and residents may bring unwanted and expired medications to local Sheriff's stations for disposal from 10am to 2pm. Thousand Oaks Police station is the closest location for Thousand Oaks residents, but medications are accepted at other cities' Sheriff's stations.
