  • April 28 - National Drug Take Back Day
    This event happens twice a year on Saturdays and residents may bring unwanted and expired medications to local Sheriff's stations for disposal from 10am to 2pm. Thousand Oaks Police station is the closest location for Thousand Oaks residents, but medications are accepted at other cities' Sheriff's stations.

  • April 28 - Arbor Earth Day - Thousand Oaks
    This year’s event will start at 9am at the Grant R. Brimhall Library and take on a new format  and new location with both indoor and outdoor activities, plus additional activities throughout the month of April.

Ventura Bl. from 8 am to noon. Donations to the Sheriff's Foundation will be accepted at the event and are appreciated.
