This project includes the construction of stormdrain inlet and RC pipe and outfall, street improvement with curb and gutter and sidewalk. Additionally, this will include Lang Creek improvements such as removal and replacement of concrete channel lining.
Project Time frame:
This project is an in-house design. Staff advertised project for bid on August 2017. Construction contract was awarded on October 24, 2017 to the contractor. Construction will start in early December and tentatively finish in January 2018.
The cost of this project is approximately $450,000 which will come from the City's General Fund.
This project will Improve the drainage system through a more efficient collection and inlet system and enhancements of the east end of Spalding Street. A portion of the Lang Creek concrete lining, which is in disrepair, will also be replaced.
Project Map and Impacts:
A photo of the project area is provided. Prior to any construction, area homeowners will be notified. The impact to the neighborhood will be minimal with periodic traffic delays.
