Since its incorporation in 1964, Thousand Oaks has contracted with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department for law enforcement services. As the City evolved into a well planned and highly desirable community to live, work and recreate in, the women and men of the Police Department continue to dedicate their professional skills toward enhancing the strong partnership we enjoy with the people we serve.
