| Municipal Service Center The landscape, streets, water, wastewater, fleet services, and administrative office for the maintenance and operations of the City of Thousand Oaks are headquartered at the Municipal Service Center. Our staff is responsible for maintaining the City’s infrastructure including streets, storm drain system, landscaped areas, water distribution system, wastewater collection system, and contract management for Thousand Oaks Transit (TOT) and Dial-a-Ride.
The Water Division is responsible for bringing clean, potable water to your home. Our staff is responsible for water meters, fire hydrants, and water pressure. The Wastewater Division is responsible for maintaining the wastewater collection system including manholes and sewer pipelines. The Landscape Division maintains landscaped areas throughout the City, including City-owned street trees, landscaped medians, City-maintained open space, open space weed abatement, and graffiti removal. The Street Division maintains the City’s road system, which includes traffic and safety, street sweeping, storm drains, asphalt street and pothole repair, concrete sidewalk, curb, and gutter repair. Fleet Services Division maintains City vehicles and equipment, and the public fast fuel CNG Station at the end of Rancho Conejo Boulevard.
