The City offers this opportunity to Adopt An Oak tree as an innovative way to raise funds to enhance funding for Open Space maintenance, and development of public recreational facilities. Adopt An Oak tree in honor of, or in memory of a loved one, or business associate, and help maintain our City's 14,800 acres of public open space. ABOUT THE PROGRAM Funds raised through this Adopt An Oak Program enhance our open space and public recreational facilities. Participants can be individuals, service groups, businesses, and organizations. Adoptions can be in the name of adopting party, a gift to an individual, a memorial, or to commemorate a special event in the life of the adopting party or person.
