| The City of Thousand Oaks is served by more than 20 advisory Committees/Commissions/Boards which pass on valuable information to the City Council to help the Council make informed decisions about various local issues. City residents serve as volunteers on Committees/Commissions/Boards and are appointed by the City Council. The City is appreciative of the hundreds of residents who volunteer their time and talents to our local government process. As you know, agendas are the list of subjects to be discussed at the meeting. According to the California Ralph M. Brown Act, only topics listed on the public agenda can be discussed at that particular meeting so citizens are notified of the subject of the meeting. Minutes are the official record of business conducted at City Council meetings. Summary notes of meetings are taken for Committees/Commissions/Boards. |
