Angels of the Alliance

The Angels of the Alliance was founded in 1999 by Alliance for the Arts President and Executive Director Patricia Moore Jones, as part of the Alliance’s strategic plan to expand its sphere of influence and support for the arts. A very ambitious group of women were called into action to form the Alliance’s first auxiliary known as the Angels of the Alliance. Grand Patron of the Arts Bev Dallas became the auxiliary’s charter President and after much thought and planning, the Angels developed their signature event entitled The Angels Luncheon. The luncheon is the talk of the town and features table decorating contests, designer boutiques, opportunity chance drawings and a gourmet lunch. The event attracts hundreds of supporters each year including celebrities and government officials. Proceeds from the event support the Alliance’s children’s programming efforts held at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
