The Rain barrel Rebate is Back!

Up to $35 for two rain barrels

Ivy-Rain-BarrelIf you have rain barrels in your yard, you can easily collect water from your raingutter downspouts and reuse it for your garden during drier times!  Despite low amounts of rain in Southern California, every barrel collected is free water!

Here are the top four reasons to harvest rainwater

  • Protect our rivers and streams from runoff pollution

  • Use rainwater to grow healthy and lush plants

  • Supplement your water supply

  • Rainwater is a free resource that's easy to harvest and use!

If you missed out on past rain barrel promotions, once again here is your chance to purchase up to two rain barrels and receive a rebate. The  Ventura County Community for a Clean Watershed has a special promotion going on now through January 28, 2018. Before you purchase, click this link and enter your address to see if you qualify for the rebate. The 50- gallon rain barrels cost $75 plus tax.  After your purchase, you may apply for the $35 rebate for up to 2 rainbarrels.   Verification of eligibility, rain barrel purchasing and rebate applications are all through the above link. The rainbarrels must be ordered by January 28th at 11pm PST, and your rain barrels must be picked up in Thousand Oaks or Ventura only on February 3rd at the times and locations below.

Here are some specifications on the rainbarrel:

  • Made in the USA using 100% recycled materials!

  • 50-gallon capacity – perfect for homeowners

  • Locking child-proof lid, stable when full, mosquito resistant

  • Two overflow ports and screened inlet (best in class!)

  • 3/4" ball valve connects to garden hose

  • Gravity fed—no pumps required

  • Easily transport up to three Ivy barrels in a mid-size sedan

  • Link multiple Ivy barrels using overflow hose (included)

  • Dimensions 42.5"H x 22"W x 18"L

The rainbarrels nest inside each other for easy storage and transportation, and two rain barrels easily fit in the back seat of a 4-door sedan.
